Join Fata Morgana and Bike-a-Bee for an afternoon making paper for the bees. Bke-a-Bee will talk about the importance of native pollinators and steps we can take to support them in our own yards and gardens. We’ll discuss which plants and planting styles are best for your plot.
Using recycled fibers, we’ll form sheets of paper and embed bee-friendly plant seeds in them. Each participant will form and take home several sheets of seed paper. After the workshop, allow your sheets to dry completely and plant according to the seed packet instructions.
We'll provide instructions and a materials list for you to continue making paper at home with just a blender and a few inexpensive tools.
